Giles Deacon To Design For Emanuel Ungaro?

After a somewhat disastrous hook-up with Lindsay Lohan (the actress lasted just one season as Artistic Advisor for the brand) the style rumour mill went into overdrive today after Brit fashion favourite Giles Deacon was spotted by WWD lunching with Emanuel Ungaro owner Asim Abdullah.

Designer Estrella Archs, pictured walking the runway with Lindsay, has left the company to work on her own label, leaving the top job at the Paris fashion house free. With Giles continuing to wow the crowds at Paris Fashion Week – he now shows there instead of London - will he take time out from his own label to work his magic at Ungaro?

We’re all for making a fashion statement here at LOOK, but it never entered our heads to turn up to work with our clothes the wrong way round.

Well, it seems there are a different set of rules in celebville, because Mamma Mia actress Amanda Seyfried trod the red rug at the Mother & Child film premiere this week in a dress that was back to front. The dress is from London label Bodyamr’s autumn/winter 2010 collection, and features a grey printed front with a purple zip-up back – Amanda wore the dress the wrong way round, so the zip was at the front.
