The little black dress is one style that never goes out of fashion wether its just got a hint of embroidery on the shoulders or a shorter hem. It suits anyone and is a very simple look to carry off. i found this really nice dress from river island i just love the draped fabric on the dress it has this greek godess look.

The Power List

The Britich Fashion council ( i never even new there was one) anyways the press comitee have picked there power list of the most influential people in the fashion industry . The powerful list of 25 includes Vivienne westwood, John Galliano and Alexander Mc Queen.  It celebrates 25 years of british fashion.

GaGa a Style icon?

It was confirmed that lady GaGa over the past few years Lady GaGa has Shocked, amazed and even wowed us with her outfits.She is being awarded with the array of accessories award. Marc Jacobs is giving the award to her she got to know him really well when she performed for him. from her orgami outfits, big bows in the hair, minnie mouse look and the dominc matrix look what else can she possible wear?i wonder what shes going to wear when she gets excepted... hmm no doubt something outrageous.

Lilly Allen to have her own fashion shop

It seems that everyone who is a celebrity needs to be jumping on the band wagon of designing clothes for retailers kate moss for topshop, kelly brook for New look. As soon as i heard that lilly was having her own shop i was thinking great.. i duno why because her collection for New Look wasnt even that popular.

i havent got anything agasint lilly allen but just beacuse you designed a collection for New Look doesnt mean your a fashion designer and have the rights to have your own designer boutique.. Why is it that you just cant be a singer ... you cant you cant you have to be a singer, actress and a fashion designer. Typical. who will b next i wonder if  kate moss will open her own shop?

Elton john opens a shop.

Elton john and his partner david furnish are opening a faashion shop called " Out Of the Closet" i think i no where they got there inmspiration from for that title of there shop. this shop will be open once very five years what a weird shop but its all for a good cause as all money goes to the Elton John Aids Foundation. Prices start from £10 up to £2000. on sale will be all his show outfits and davids shirts. aww what a good cause.

Style Icon ...

last month seen the auction of audrey hepburns items of clothing they was rare pieces such as Givinchy and Valentino. there was more then thirty peices of clothing on sale which started from the sixties . there was personal letters that she had written. the auctioners predicted they could make over £100.000 on profits. I think that it would have been wonderful to have been sat there in the auction i may not have been able to afford any of these amazing items but just to get a closer look would have been nice.

See celebs can do high street too!

I love it when i get to see my favourite celebs in high streetwear. See there just as normal as we are give or take the few thousands of pounds in the banck account. Alesha Dixon rocks out in this shimmery dress from River Island. Its all for a chritable event and all the money goes to the Princes Trust. other celebs such as Alexandra burke, Alexa chung and Cat deeley all jump on the band wagon of high street.

Cornrows

I used to love having my hair in cornrows when i was little and think that there so sexy when guys have them platted to. i found some A list stars who are getting in on the trend  such as Shakira, Dannii Minogue and Ashanti going crazy for Cornrows. its a great look and so much better than the under cut.  Ashanti looks hot with her huge cornrow curls, shakira does barbie with a blonde look and Danni Minogue goes all sexy with a chic bob- i really like this trend!

GAGA gone even more crazier...??

On sundays x factor lady gagas performance was really good but it wasnt her voice that i was so interested in it was that outfit that she was wearing what was it? she looked like a bat at the begining then transforming into some sort of mouse... iam normally such a lady gaga fan and she got me into wearing bows but this look batman slash mouse is clearly not going to catch on in the slightlest.

Lace

I love lace at the moment i have quite a few pairs of lace tights. They are sexy and have a great floral print on some of them. I laso like this floral dress form dorothy perkins its only £40.00 cant wait to get shopping.

back to the prom!

EEEK.... iam so excited for my christmas party at work and is a prom theme getting to re live the prom again will be fab i will get to go with my fiance which will be fun... now to find the dress. i been looking at t.k maxx and the dresses are really nice and a price range of £ 20- £40 pounds this will be the cheapest prom this time round.

CoCo before chanel

Today i watched the film coco before chanel even though it was all in french and i had to rely on the subtitles to understand her story. for the story line it was uncomplicated simply  straight to the point.

This woman was obssed with cream and black and even though lagerfeld has taken over it still reamain this Chic, simple sheek. It was interesting how this woman loved mens wear tailoring it for a womans body. It was her first time to the seas side and she seen a blue & white striped long sleeved top that a fisherman was wearing this was where she got her inspiration from for stripes.you got and insight on how and why she dressed in the way she did and .... the reason why she always wore black  for the next 10 years .

Recently i've been looking for a new website something that wasnt new look, river island or even topshop. i found this great websit its called www.missguided.co.uk its cheap fashion- its only an online fashion store but i think that its great. check out this gaga inspired glitsy dress- i just love the sequins.

SHOE BOOTS!

At the moment i cant stop obssesing about shoe boots .. i love the fact that they have buckles on they give this illusion of being a rock chick but with the peep toe they can be very girly. i found these gorgeous ones from new look there only £50 and they would go great with my chrismas outfit for work.
