Giles Deacon To Design For Emanuel Ungaro?

After a somewhat disastrous hook-up with Lindsay Lohan (the actress lasted just one season as Artistic Advisor for the brand) the style rumour mill went into overdrive today after Brit fashion favourite Giles Deacon was spotted by WWD lunching with Emanuel Ungaro owner Asim Abdullah.

Designer Estrella Archs, pictured walking the runway with Lindsay, has left the company to work on her own label, leaving the top job at the Paris fashion house free. With Giles continuing to wow the crowds at Paris Fashion Week – he now shows there instead of London - will he take time out from his own label to work his magic at Ungaro?

We’re all for making a fashion statement here at LOOK, but it never entered our heads to turn up to work with our clothes the wrong way round.

Well, it seems there are a different set of rules in celebville, because Mamma Mia actress Amanda Seyfried trod the red rug at the Mother & Child film premiere this week in a dress that was back to front. The dress is from London label Bodyamr’s autumn/winter 2010 collection, and features a grey printed front with a purple zip-up back – Amanda wore the dress the wrong way round, so the zip was at the front.

Cat Deeley and Kelly Osbourne showed the LA celebs just how to look effortlessly sexy on the red carpet without flashing too much flesh as they attended The Brit Week launch party in a couple of demure and sophisticated white dresses. The TV star completed her look and stole the accessories winner of the week award with her metallic peep-toes and envelope clutch – we want them all! Fearne Cotton has ditched her golden blonde highlights and gone brunette! Fearne dyed her hair red, then brown, for charity fundraiser Sport Relief last week and it seems she’s decided to stick with her new darker shade. Well, either that or she hasn’t managed to squeeze in a hair appointment between shifts at Radio One! I am not entirely sure on this one but its a different transformation for her! xx

When we clocked Christina Aguilera’s recent updo, we thought we were having a flashback from the final scene in Grease! But her high-impact style is actually really easy to do and the key to this look is in the product. Run a curl mousse like Tigi Bed Head Foxy Curls Extreme Curl Mousse, £9.90, through your hair. Then, tong just the bottom half of your hair into tight, bouncy curls. Next, after dividing your hair into sections, pull the curls tightly into the centre of your head and pin them securely, working your way from your forehead right down to the nape of your neck. But to me again its a very old look maybe more the 80's style are we taking inspiration from the 70's and 80's and i didn't know about this? x

Fashion, music and make-up collided last night at the MAC Cosmetics Pan Asian VIVA GLAM launch in Japan, in honour of the MAC AIDS Fund. New VIVA GLAM girl Lady Gaga pulled off another killer performance in a white outfit similar to her lacy look at this years Brit Awards 2010. Gaga performed Bad Romance on a MAC VIVA GLAM inspired piano, specially designed by artist Terence Koh, which will be auctioned at Donatella Versace and Anna Wintour’s ‘Art of Elysium’ event later this month.

Heidi Klum showed off a sophisticated new look on US TV programme The Tonight Show, as she debuted her dramatic new haircut to chat show audience members. I am really not feeling the hair it doesn't suit her at all and i think that it reminds me of a 70's hair cut!

The supermodel flaunted her money-making face and figure in a curve-hugging cream dress and sky-high Christian Louboutin shoes as she appeared on the American TV show. Heidi explained to host Leno that she decided to ditch her signature long blonde locks for a short and sharp hairstyle because: “I got bored as we all do once in a while as girls. Whenever I get bored I change it". I am starting to think that is it hair season with so many different celebrities changing their hairstyles this is a trend I must definitely catch up on! xx

Renée Zellweger and Hayden Panettiere both showed off dramatic new hairstyles this week.Hayden Panettiere sported the biggest transformation of the week as she ditched her all-American girl locks for a short and sleek hairstyle at the Global Home Tree Earth Day reception in Los Angeles. The Heroes actress sported a slicked-back hairdo complete with quiff as she posed in a sequin LBD and black tights. On the other side of town, Renée Zellweger showcased her short, textured bob at the premiere of her new movie ‘My Own Love Song’ at the Tribeca Film Festival 2010 in New York.

Coleen Rooney Wins Best Dressed At Aintree!

Coleen Rooney made another fabulous appearance at Aintree over the weekend when she stepped out in one of spring/summer 2010’s hottest shades by wearing a floaty nude dress to watch the Grand National. Mrs Rooney accessorised her figure-flattering dress with leg-enhancing her nude Christian Louboutin heels, a pale pink clutch, statement gold earrings and her favourite hairstyle of the week, the bouffant ponytail. Her second outfit choice of the weekend was in contrast to her thigh-length LBD that she wore the day before. I am not to sure what I think about this dress the colour looks okay on her but were all used to seeing her in something more figure hugging showing of that silhouette of hers. xx

Alexandra Burke Copies Ex-Mentor Cheryl Cole's Style....

It seems Alexandra Burke is not content with Cheryl Cole just being her mentor but now taking her style advice too! well not taking it copying with some slight changes.  Alex stepped out in this APC anchor sweat top seven months to the day since Cheryl last gave the same top an outing – hmm coincidence or what? The X Factor star's copycat style was made even more obvious with the addition of a similar gold pendant.  After all, who doesnt want to look like Cheryl Cole? But all this style matching has got us wondering if this nautical top is a hand-me-down from Cheryl – if only she was our best mate! xx

Glee’s Lea Michele's Hot New Look!

Is there anyone who’s not a little bit obsessed with the american TV hit show Glee? But while we’re still mourning its midseason break  which is back on monday yay! - the cast took to the red carpet for the spring premiere in LA the otha night and it was geeky character Rachel that got the pap flashbulbs going. Actress Lea Michele stole the show in a psychedelic print plunging Etro maxi dress and nude strappy LaRare heels, whilst showing off her hot new shaggy fringed hairstyle. We’ve got say, it’s a definite improvement on the kne- high socks and pleated skirts we’re used to seeing her in. Love the skin tone heels! xx

Our best-dressed at last night's Vionnet cocktail party in New York was style-inspiration Ginnifer Goodwin. The Big Love actress stepped out in what else but the recently re-vamped French label Vionnet, and all we can say is wow! Her velvet minidress with cute bow cutouts wasn’t an obvious spring red-carpet choice, but it totally works for us. I love the way she’s toughened up her cute frock with fierce thigh-high boots! Love the cute boy hair cut!

Time to lose the pounds!

Lately I've been thinking its time to lose the weight, I've put it off far to long and  i have decided more than ever that its the right time and also its my friends wedding in July so hoping to get trim and fit for then! x

Easter time!

Finally its Easter and i can take a little break from all this uni work lol, i cant wait to eat my Easter eggs this year i've only got three as i didn't want to eat a lot of chocolate this year. Now that its Easter means i get to spend a lot of time at home seeing my family and friends. see you all when i am back xx

Engaged!

I don't know whether any of you know but i am engaged to my fiancée Richard Crisp who i love to bits. Recently i've been planning my wedding and we've decided on colour schemes and i have got most of it sorted just not the venue. but i cant wait its going to be in two years time hopefully when were settled and i've finished university. Also were going apartment hunting which i've got my eye on a few cheeky ones. wish us good luck xx

I have to say that Amanda Seyfried added a touch of colour to a dreary day in New York at the premiere for her new film, Chloe, as she stepped out in an electric blue asymmetric dress complete with side-swept hairstyle and black accessories. The 24-year old actress looked picture-perfect as she promted her new film, in which she plays a women who is hired to test a husband because his wife feels that she cannot trust his fidelity.and i have to say I've been to see this film its got a good plot and storyline but I wasn't keen on the lesbian sex scene with Julienne Moore, its a different role from her sweet characters in Mama Mia and Mean girls. Cant you just go back to kissing those gorgeous straight fellas in films pleasssee!

A super smiley Kate turned up with beau Jamie Hince .The event was one stylish gathering of yummy mummies including Sharleen Spiteri, Camilla Rutherford and Meg Matthews joining Stella and Kate.

Ermm hold on a minute now what the hell is Liam Gallagher doing even thinking about designing a woman's wear collection. What does this guy no about woman wear he doesn't even no how to crack a smile. Gallagher has announced he wants to expand his Pretty Green label to include women's wear – apparently due to demand from his female fans!! hmmm .. well i don't think he will design anything that i will be interested in!

Chloë Sevigny has trademarked yet another look everyone is dying to steal! Her denim cut-off shorts and ankle socks combo is such a winner, she decided to show it off two days in a row. While it might not be warm enough to bare your pins over there in America but here just not yet, you can still take your cut-offs for a test run – just wear with opaque tights. Then when the weather heats up, switch to socks and you've got the signature Sevigny look nailed!

Has anyone else yet seen Mark & Spencer's New TV advert?? its fun and flirty and has some new face models for this year. Including Twiggy who is a M&S favourite, also VV Brown, Dannii Minogue, and Lisa Snowdon. It try s to appeal to a more younger crowd but what i don't understand it that every time i go in to M&S i never ever see any of these bright fun clothes that they are trying to sell, i normally see drab clothes which is for more the mature woman. The collection shows for spring 2010.

Another Lady who celebrated her birthday in the same week was Lady GaGa. She turned 24 on Sunday and thanked al her fans and will continue singing for another 30 years. she refereed to her fans as "little monsters". hmm i wonder what her birthday suit was?? xx
